When a Mall is in your backyard, things get interesting.
Shot in the Mid-Hudson Valley, the new web series and instant hit on college TV, MALLED follows MC, a witty charmer, who inherits his grandfather's house. After his grandfather's protest against developers go in vain after his death, MC now lives in the middle of the new Gwendale Mall parking lot. His loafing friend, Rufus, a sly unhygienic but loveable slacker, finds himself employed at Todd’s shady and conveniently portable pretzel stand. While they figure their lives out, they have run-ins with the main mall Security Guard Hopkins, while the mall Santa, Señor Santa Santos, has a family vendetta against MC. Along for the ride is the mall coffee shop barista, who finds the two a fun escape from her daily life. The pals are forced to face real life by trying to hold down jobs while still trying to have fun.
